Hi Michael,
I hope this information reaches the proper investigative authority. You should also check 2004 and 2008 – the same holds true for those years. I would appreciate a response from you as to how this could happen. I will be posting this info tonight on my blog, and will withhold drawing ANY conclusions until a reasonable explanation exists. As clear, the individual totals for each set of candidates exceed by significant numbers those reported as total votes cast for the county.

Here is the election report for 2006in Waukesha County - see for yourself. Notice the red-highlighted numbers showing the total votes cast; then the votes cast in elections for Governor and Attorney General. The total votes cast for individual races should not exceed total votes cast in the election – but do, by a large margin. We deserve an answer to WHY more votes are reported under individual candidates than for the entire election. The same pattern is repeated in 2004 and 2008 elections. Ms. Nickolaus did not resign today, but she should be investigated at the highest levels pending an acceptable explanation of her actions.
